Any person desiring to commence or proceed to erect, construct, repair or enlarge any building or dwelling shall file with the Building Official an application for a building permit. Please contact the Village Office at 308-879-4332 with any questions.

The Village of Potter maintains the water and sewer mains. The water or sewer service that runs from your home or business to the water or sewer main is the responsibility of the home or business owner. If the leak or blockage is in the Village main, the Village will repair or clean the Village main.

Does the Village have a record of where my property lines are?

No, the Village does not have a record of where your property lines are located. It is the property owner’s responsibility to locate their property lines. If you do not know where your property lines are a survey is the best way to find the property lines.
